Residential Services
Independent Horizons provides a wide range of intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) services in Nebraska, including 24-hour assistance in a safe, welcoming environment. Here, our unique residential disability services promote interdependence and a better quality of life.
Shared Living Services
Our community living services place your loved one with families equipped to help. Our shared living provider (SLP) homes give opportunities for adults with disabilities to build strong relationships and independent living skills, all while receiving personalized support.
Day Services
Looking for daily activities, support for a job, or a bridge to build job skills for people with disabilities? Our community integration and vocational services are perfect for you. At Independent Horizons, job seekers get the experience they need to find and maintain employment. If someone isn’t ready for a job, they can choose from a variety of social activities and community outings instead.

Our cofounders each have over 30 years of experience in the disability provider industry. With deep knowledge and unique professional backgrounds as state caseworkers, DSPs, advocates, and administrators, we can always find creative ways to work within the system to help your loved ones.
