Residential Services
Our residential support programs are designed to boost independence and social skills. We offer independent living solutions that will meet any level of support our clients require. While every care plan is different, support could look like money management assistance, social activities in Omaha and Lincoln, help accessing medical services, meal prep, home cleaning, partner shopping, and more.
Independent Living
Our independent living services help people with disabilities develop the skills needed to live independently and experience more autonomy in a residential environment, yet still have access to support when it’s needed.
Group Homes
Find supportive residential group homes for adults with disabilities to live with people who have similar care requirements and interests. Our housing for disabled adults is secure, comfortable, and intentionally close-knit. We limit the number of people to three per home so that everyone receives attention and quality time to get to know one another. Independent Horizons may help group home supervisors plan fun activities, create family-style meals, arrange medical appointments, and manage payee services.
In-Home Residential Services
We provide in-home residential care so individuals that live with family members can get support and develop skills from the comfort of their own homes. When you choose supported independent living, your loved one meets routinely with a qualified direct care professional during at-home visits.
Day Services
Our day services provide space for individuals with disabilities to connect with other people, participate in fun activities, receive supported employment resources, and attend community-integrated programs and events.
Habilitative Community Inclusion
Individuals with developmental disabilities can build relationships, strengthen life skills, and find community integration through our habilitative community inclusion services. We connect people through fun outings and local events.
Vocational Training
Vocational training programs provide educational resources and opportunities for community involvement that prepare individuals to find and secure employment or volunteer opportunities. We also have retirement services to make the transition into life after your job smoother.
Supported Employment
Supported employment services involve job development, coaching, and continued training that enables people to succeed at their jobs and maintain employment.
